This study examines the interpretation of QS. al-Nisa`: 43 which discusses tayammum. The significance this research is that in understanding 43, there are many differences opinion among scholars about meaning and procedure Therefore, article presented by using qualitative methods muqāran as an approach. Tayammum hadith facts their context will also be to understand comprehensively. shows at least four points difference regarding words mardhā, safar, Falam Tajidū Māan, ṣa‘īd.
